Welcome to Autumn 2023

Welcome to our autumn edition.

I don’t know about you, but Autumn is my favourite season. I know it’s sad to say goodbye to the summer sunshine for another year, but here in Kent we get to watch as the myriad trees turn to gold, and the fruits of our many local orchards come into season.

It’s a time for wonderful walks through crunching leaves, for warm drinks in the cold garden and for settling in and preparing ourselves for winter.

For many people, autumn is the ideal time for a bit of home improvement, now that the weather is still dry enough for decorating.

This quarter we’ve got articles on all different aspects of home improvement, from cosy insulation to finishing touches for your walls. We’ve got a piece on creating your perfect kitchen island, and advice on all sorts from some of Kent’s best businesses.

We’ve also got tips on putting the garden to bed and a run down on all things Kentish! So don’t give up on the outdoors just yet: wrap yourself in a blanket, grab a cuppa and snuggle on the patio with Conservation News.
